Giving Programs to Support Ministries Below are the ways you can help raise money to fund various ministries at FUMC-Hershey and the United Methodist Church. The Holy Grounds fundraisers fund improvements to the camping facilities at United Methodist Camps in the Central Pennsylvania Conference. Thank you to everyone who participated in the Holy Grounds Fundraisers in 2007. We contributed $6,129.23 to the Holy Grounds project! Hershey Park Volunteers (both in the Food/Beverage Department and ushering) brought in $3,519.43. We made $1,250.74 at Hoss’s and $1,334.06 at Isaac’s! We also had a cash donation of $25. Thank you EVERYONE for the tremendous support in 2007!

Volunteer at Hersheypark Ministries supported: Holy Grounds Contact: Penny Bower, 652-5709, to participate FUMC-Hershey members participate in the Volunteer Work Program at the park. The church receives payment for your shift and you, the worker, receive a voucher to redeem for a free ticket to the park or events at the park. (To see available shifts, go to employees.hersheypa.com and click on "Foods" on the first page, then "Volunteers" on the second page. To work a shift, you must contact Penny so she can contact the Hershey Volunteer Service.) Volunteer at Hersheypark Stadium and Giant Center Ministries supported: Mission work areas Contact: Rebecca Boehmer, 533-9436 to participate FUMC-Hershey members also do volunteer ushering at the Stadium and Giant Center. You must be 18 or older, usher before the concert and a short amount of time into the beginning of the concert, and then you are free to enjoy the concert or leave whenever you like. FUMC-Hershey will be paid for your ushering time. Eat at Hoss's or Isaac's Restaurants Ministries supported: Holy Grounds FUMC-Hershey Fundraising Dates are here. FUMC-Hershey partners with Hoss's and Isaac's to raise money. We receive a percentage of the proceeds for each receipt received by members on the dates scheduled for our fundraising. Both Hoss's and Isaac's have special cards and slips you will need to present when paying for your meal so that our church gets credit for the receipt. You can pick these up the Sunday before the date at the Welcome Center, fellowship hall or church office.
