Bible Stories for Grownups: Readings from the
Hebrew Writings
Led by Craig Fasnacht, meets on second floor, Upper
Overflow
We will go through the rest of 1st and 2nd Kings as
we follow Israel and Judah heading toward the Exile. Once there,
we will spend time in the Writings of the Hebrew
scriptures. This material arose from the ashes of
the Exile, and it includes some of the most
provocative and engaging texts in the Bible—books
such as Proverbs, Ecclesiastes, Song of Songs,
Esther, Ruth, and even Psalms. Class format is one
of open and honest discussion. We read a passage and
then spend some time pondering it, looking for both
its meaning and relevance to our lives as
Christians. Questions and insights are both
necessary and encouraged in order to allow the
Spirit to speak to and through all of us. New
friends are always welcome! Contact Craig Fasnacht,
534-1834, to find out more.
- Theology Class
Led by Rev. Robert Ingraham, meets on second floor,
Room 210

Youth
Sunday School Classes
Sixth Grade, Middle School and
Senior High classes meet in the Youth Room and adjacent rooms for
challenging personal growth studies based on the teachings of
Jesus and studies of the Old and New Testament. Brief devotionals
provide opportunities for youth to lead and share in worship.

Children's
Sunday School Classes
Sunday School
is an opportunity for children to come and learn more about
Christian faith in a small group setting. Classes are offered for children age
2 through grade 5:
- Toddlers and Preschoolers meet in the nursery on
the main floor
- Kindergarteners through fifth graders
meet on the bottom floor
Dedicated teachers, carefully
chosen curriculum, and special events combine to create a meaningful
program.
