Laura C. Gingrich was appointed Director of Children's Ministry of First Church in August 2001 and was excited to add the responsibilities of Adult Christian Education and Formation in September 2008. Laura received her undergraduate education at Lebanon Valley College, Annville, where she received a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education. She completed her graduate education at East Stroudsburg University where she received a Masters in Education. Before moving to the Hershey area, Laura enjoyed teaching elementary school for over nine years in East Stroudsburg and Conewago Valley School districts. Laura is pursuing certification in Christian Education through the UM Church's eChristianEd program. Laura and her husband Shawn have four children, Peter, Sarah, Christian, and Aaron.
